Being a JDC Member

Joining a JDC (Junior Darts Corporation) affilated academy offers young players a structured and supportive environment to develop their darts skills and potentially progress towards higher levels of the sport. Players are given the opportunity to participate in the JDC Foundation Tours and compete at the Q-School for Advanced Tour cards which grants entry to the JDC Advanced Tour.

 

JDC Foundation Tour:

The Foundation tour is designed for younger players and serves as a stepping stone to the Advanced Tour. Players can enter the tour directly and consists of two phases of 20 games spread across five weekends. The highest ranking players from the Foundation Tour may be invited to join the Advanced Tour.

 

JDC Advanced Tour:

The Advanced tour is a higher level of competitiion within the JDC  and players qualify for it through Q-School and rankings from the Foundation Tour. 

 

JDC Q-School:

Q-School is an event where players compete for Advanced Tour Cards which grant entry to the Advanced Tour events.

 

The JDC Challenge

The JDC year is split into six seasons, each 8 weeks long. where players undertake the weekly JDC Challenge routine each week to test their ability, accuracy and progress. At the end of each season a final average is given which determines their colour grade and also their position in the Order of Merit, giving them both a national and international ranking.
