Darts is currently the fastest growing sport in the world as a result of the ‘Luke Littler Effect’.

South Yorkshire Darts Academy opened it's doors back in November 2024, quickly becoming established as the one of the region's largest JDC academy. Aimed at 7-17 year olds, our academy gives grassroots access to juniors who are passionate about darts. Our aim is to provide a safe and fun environment, creating a new avenue for a new generation of darts players.

We are JDC (Junior Darts Corporation) accredited and sponsored by Winmau. Our affiliation with the JDC can offer players a pathway towards professional darts through the JDC Foundation and Advanced Tours which gives students the opportunity to be part of tournaments and compete against others of similar ability.

Our academy nights are:

Monday @ Hillsborough

6.30pm-8pm

Tuesday @ Chapeltown

Group 1: 5.45pm-7.15pm
Group 2: 7.30pm-9pm

What to expect

You can attend one or all our weekly sessions
Sessions start with the JDC Challenge training routine which monitors ability, accuracy and progress, giving an overview of current form and areas to develop
All our coaches are DBS checked and have safeguarding qualifications. In addition, our Academy Lead is First Aid trained and is a JDC Level One Coach.

Develop in a supportive, friendly and competitive environment
Play in our in-house leagues, competitions and half term events.
Join us on the road at tournaments at different venues and academies

Try your hand at the JDC Foundation Tours, Girls Series and WDF tournaments
Enter PDC development
